Hey everyone, the staff have been discussing a plan to change the way Factions works on a fundamental level.

[b]Please note these changes are to the plugin, and not a new set of rules. They will not need to be enforced by staff.



1) You will no longer be able to teleport/tpa into faction territory that you are not a member/ally of.

2) You will no longer be able to /sethome inside of faction territory you are not a member of.

3) If you are enemied, are kicked from a faction, or choose to leave a faction, your homes that are set within that factions territory will be removed.

I am including a poll in this post. We would like to hear from you all!

These will be changes to the plugin. They are not rules, changes to the way the plugin works.

That is up to Siggi. Hes agreed to the changes, Just needs to implement them when hes not busy. Hes been working on quite a bit all at once lately. They should be done soon though.

Thank you all for the support thus far. It seems we have an overwhelming amount of support with currently 90% in support of the changes. We will be planning on tweaking these changes as necessary, but should you vote for #2, please tell us what you want edited!

This would be a major prob for us raiders. I think this would be one of the worst changes

Actually, this wont impede raiding at all. These changes will only remove the exploit of abusing the /sethome feature. That exploit has been driving players away from factions, as there is no way to prevent or fix it. That being said, this should bring more people to factions and make the game type more balanced.

For those of you who like the idea of abusing the home set feature instead of raiding the way the plugin intended, sorry these changes are not for you.

But, you should be able to sethome in a base, then leave it and raid. Escpecialy so ypu can go back to ur base and get supplies
