Unforunately if the gold pack wasnt made by you and you keep it in your faction chest anyone can look at it and take whats in it.

Yes, thats why you should keep backpacks in your enderchest. Anyone can access a backpack, even if it isnt theirs.

Backpacks clear alright? every once in a while it says "Cleared backpack"
