They didnt cheat, its just lag. It happens to me all the time, even faaaaaaar away from AE land.

How come I could please other blocks? And place TNT in other wilderness places?

Actually I can explain that.
In the earlier days Siggi actually gave away our coords in staff chat. (When noob was staff and not in our faction and actually had that exact goal in mind to completely destroy ae.) at the time we were testing withers and plugins when it came to explosions. Since in game a creeper exploding is different from a wither doing so.
Since this happened at the same time siggi disabled explosions around our base as an appology for giving out coords and testing for explosion plugins that could try and prevent the wither from destroying obby etc.
When the test period was done siggi forgot to turn it off.
Its been on ever since *shrugs
Again its been like that for a very long time, there isnt anything ae could do to take it down.
