Several of the playerbase have learned that smellylongfeet has been banned. He was caught advertising by the following staff who were all in vanish.

It started with some wierd private messages. We started getting concerned when we saw the following conversation:
naturally, we wanted to see if he would put it on that sign. I vanished and tpd to him to watch him toss a book to katie_bean.
I opened her inventory and found the following book from him, as it was the only book in her inventory.
heres what that book read:
As you can see, it lists a server IP, info about the person they were talking about, and promises that he was staff and would give her things. Additionally, this is all info only he could know.
I know for many of you this is hard news. The staff hated doing this as well. We dont enjoy banning people, but it is our job. Smelly can easily appeal and we hope he does. should he appeal, hell likely get a very quick acceptance letter. I have to say something to the community though. Occasionally the decisions staff make are unpopular. We understand, but someone has to make these decisions. Thank you all for your concern over smelly. You are clearly very supportive of each other.

I personally like smellylongfeet. He is nice, and friendly. Im sure he wont do it again. The server is too awesome to be away from ;)
